Borys Gvozdyev, MD. Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon
Dr. Borys Gvozdyev specializes in orthopaedic spine surgery with emphasis on advanced techniques for the evaluation,
non-operative, and operative treatment of the full spectrum of spinal disorders.
Dr. Gvozdyev completed his medical school studies at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, graduating with the highest honors. While in medical school, he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AΩA) and
the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He continued his training in orthopaedic surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in
New York City, where he completed both his internship and residency. Dr. Gvozdyev completed his fellowship training in a
combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic adult and pediatric spine surgery program at the world-renowned Norton
Leatherman Spine Center. Dr. Gvozdyev is also active in surgeon training, clinical research and surgical innovation, as well as international medical volunteering.
Dr. Gvozdyev is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
